Did you know Mickey and Minnie are married?






Wayne Allwine (who plays the voice of Mickey Mouse) and Russi Taylor (who plays the voice of Minnie Mouse) married in 1991.







I learned this fact earlier this week when I saw them together on a re-run of The View. Instantly I had a wealth of jokes... and sat down to write a funny article.


However, as I went on-line to find photos I learned a sad fact. Wayne Allwine passed away 10 weeks ago, at age 62, from Diabetes complications. What started off to be a funny article suddenly took a sad turn and I found myself mourning a man I have never met, but one who has brought my family so much joy.




Mr. Allwine: You have touched the heart of the world's children. Forever you will live on in us all. Thank you Sir. Rest in peace.
